Fairy fort in Farranamranagh, County Kerry. An earthen ringfort, local people called it a fairy fort. The distinction matters less than the shape: a raised circle, built or shaped by human hands, still standing where the land remembers it. Whether it housed a family, a herder, a outcast or a small community, the earth kept the answer simple. A boundary, a shelter, a life lived inside a circle.
