Fate and consequence collide when a curious human touches the hidden chamber of the old world. This is not a warning about death, but about the boundary between the visible world and the hidden one. The chamber shows what the gods and fairies believe. They believe the human world is a temporary game made from the thoughts of dead gods. When a person touches that truth, the hidden world must decide whether the game is still real. That is why the chamber changes instead of killing.
