Fairy fort in Farnham, County Cavan, is a raised circular area fifty-nine by fifty-two metres, enclosed by a substantial earth-and-stone bank and a wide fosse now largely infilled. A clear break at the north-northwest probably marks the original entrance, while deciduous trees fill the interior. People may have lived, hidden or worshipped there before the land was reordered, but the ring still holds its shape against forgetting.

Raised circular area (int. dims. 59m NNW-SSE; 52m ENE-WSW) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone and a wide, deep fosse which has been largely infilled from SW-N-NNE. Well-defined break in bank at NNW probably represents original entrance. The internal area has been planted with deciduous trees.
