Under the Paps of Anu, the fort holds its breath. Aisling and Danu built it before human hands learned to shape earth. They failed, and the failure became the chamber where Anu still dreams. What you call a ruin is her living body, breathing through soil and stone.

In pasture, on a N-facing slope with views SE to The Paps of Dana. A raised circular area (24m N-S; 22m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5m; int. H 0.95m; ext. H 1.5m) partially obscured by overgrowth and with traces of stone facing on its internal face. A large boulder is incorporated into the bank at W and there is a break (Wth 2m) in the bank at NNW. The level interior is in pasture. A possible Man-made underground passage (KE067-048001-) is in the W sector and rock scribing (KE067-048002-) is c. 5m to the ESE. A fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Faghcullia, likely dating to the early medieval period, is characterized by a raised circular area with a substantial earthen bank. Local folklore may associate it with fairy activity, as suggested by its name, while its strategic location on a north-facing slope offers views toward the Paps of Dana, a prominent Neolithic landscape feature.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
