Effernan holds a earthen ringfort that people still call a fairy fort, blending human history and local wonder. The clay bank remains visible in County Clare, marking a place where people once lived, worked or withdrew from the world. Whether it was a home, a shelter or a boundary, the earth still shapes the field and invites imagination.
