Magic fort in Dunmaniheen, County Kerry, Ireland. The rath is a circular area (diam. 22m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 4.2m; int. H c. 0.7m; ext. H c. 1.3m) SW-NE, and by a scarp (H 0.05m) NE-SW. The bank is incorporated into the field boundary system. According to local information, the rath was levelled in recent times and is known locally as a 'fort'.

A fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Dunmaniheen is a circular early-medieval defensive or domestic site, likely dating to between the 5th and 10th centuries AD. Local tradition associates such sites with the supernatural, often referring to them as dwellings of the "good people" or fairies.
