What is recorded here

No visible wall remains, yet the 1846 and 1895 maps drew a forty-metre circle with field boundaries radiating from its SE and SW arcs. The fort is buried under pasture on a SE-facing slope in Dromin East, but its shape still controls the land above it. A possible underground passage is recorded beside it, suggesting the ring may have hidden as much as it revealed.

In pasture, on the break of a SE-facing slope. The rath is not visible at ground level. It is indicated on the 1846 and 1895 OS 6-inch maps as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) with field boundaries radiating from the SE and SW arcs.
