Doonaha West holds a circular earthen fort, local memory names it a fairy fort, and that contradiction is the point. Human hands built the ring, but the stories refused to leave it empty. People may have lived there, feared it or simply stopped asking questions once the dark came. The clay remembers every footprint, even the ones ownership tried to erase.
