Half a metre of earthen scarps and a field wall now mark a 33-metre circular platform on the drumlin crest at Derrinwillin. The fort has no visible entrance or fosse, as if the boundary dissolved rather than being broken. People may have lived there before the hedge swallowed the shape, but the land keeps that much to itself.

Situated at the crest of the N-facing slope of a drumlin. This is a grass and rush-covered circular platform (diam. 33m N-S; 32m E-W) defined by an earthen scarp (H 0.6m) W-NE which is overlain by a field wall and overgrown hedge elsewhere.
