Thirty-foot circle on the drumlin, its earthen bank still standing where humans first drew a line between inside and outside. Glenfarne valley stretches west beneath it, and the fort watches the whole distance like a sentinel that never slept. People may have lived there, loved there, or raged there before memory collapsed; the earth kept the shape regardless.

Situated on top of a prominent drumlin on the N side of the W-E Glenfarne valley at its W end. Circular grass and reed-covered area (int. diam. 27.5m N-S; 25.5m E-W) defined by a steep-sided, round-topped earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.8m) and hedge separated by a fosse (Wth of base 2m; D 0.25m) from an outer bank (Wth 1.5m; ext. H 0.2m), which is intermittently visible S-W. The original entrance is not identified and field banks are attached to the perimeter at E and W. Rath (LE007-070----) is c. 90m to the S.
