What is recorded here

Situated on a slight natural rise in undulating grassland. Bog 35m to SW. Lough Adeel 450m to W. A sub-triangular shaped area (approx. dims. 58m NE-SW; 36m NW-SE) enclosed by two earthen banks and intervening fosse. The inner bank has been levelled along the W side of the monument. The outer bank is visible only from S-W. There is an entrance gap (Wth 1.5m) and causeway (Wth 3.5m; H 0.5m) across the fosse at S. The interior rises slightly towards the centre, and there are traces of cultivation ridges. A post-1837 field fence running NW-SE intersects the monument from N-NE.
