Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Cullenagh (carbery W. (e.d.) By.) is a circular earthwork in West Cork, built with a high bank, stone facing and shallow outer ditch. It sits on a north-facing slope where cultivation ridges still cross the interior, marking long human use. The shape suggests defence, boundary or domestic life rather than fantasy, even though local names often disguise ordinary architecture as marvel.

In pasture, on break in N-facing slope. Circular raised area (21m N-S; 23m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.8m), with external fosse (D 0.5m) SSW->NW. Bank highest SW->N where upper portion stone faced to outside; stone wall atop low bank NE->ESE. Cultivation ridges cross interior.
