Four decades of forgotten labour shaped the Creggaun ringfort, yet time and plough have smeared most of it into grass. What remains is a broken circle on a hilltop, half buried under field boundaries and memory. The fairies may have taken the rest, but human hands clearly built the first draft.

On the summit of a hill in undulating grassland. Poorly preserved circular rath (D c. 40m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank survives from NW to N; a scarp forms the enclosing element from N through E to SW, it is overlain by a field boundary from SW to NW. The fosse and outer bank survive from SE to SW.
