What is recorded here
Fairy fort in Craggs, County Limerick: a 20-metre earthen ring on a west-facing slope, mapped in 1923, now levelled and gone. It may have marked a home, a boundary, a place of work or warning; its shape is lost, but the field still holds the memory of being enclosed.
In pasture, on W-facing slope. Monument, depicted as circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on 1923 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. No trace of monument evident when inspected.
