Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Crag (trughanacmy By., Currans Ed)

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

No visible trace remains in Crag, though local memory still names the hidden fort. It may have been a small defended home, a boundary marker, or a forgotten gathering place. The land may have swallowed it after people stopped maintaining the earthworks. What is certain is that the area once contained a named ringfort now lost from the visible landscape.
