Corderry holds a broad grassy disc bounded by a wet ditch and a faint earthen scar, marking one of County Leitrim’s many forgotten ringforts. The earth has softened the boundary until the fort resembles a shallow bowl rather than a defensive wall, yet the circular shape still resists the surrounding fields. People may have lived, herded or hidden there before the land took the evidence back. The fairies keep what the history forgot.

Situated n a low-lying position in an undulating landscape. This is a grass-covered circular platform (diam. 34m N-S; 33m E-W) defined by an intermittently visible bank (Wth c. 2m; int. H 0.35m) which is usually reduced to a scarp (H 0.5m), surrounded by a fosse represented by a wet band of lush vegetation. There are modern entrances at E (Wth 12m) and NW (Wth 5.5m), and field spoil has been added to the perimeter. The original entrance is not identified.
