Fairy forts are not for entry. That is all. They are not angry, but they do not want to be known. They want to be left alone. If you go inside, you take from them. If you take from them, you must give back. That is why people avoid them. Not fear. Respect.
In level pasture. Circular area (37.8m E-W; 37.4m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.05m) with external fosse (D 0.4m; Wth 2.45m). Gap in bank at W (Wth 2m). Level interior under pasture; just N of centre is oval mound (3.5m x 1.2m; max. H 0.3m).
