Fairy fort in Coolcarron, Kinsale Bay, County Cork. A circular earthen ring, 26 metres across, with a 1.3-metre bank, sits slightly raised on an east-facing slope now lost in tillage. People once lived inside or beside it; the fairies, according to local story, took it back. The bank still stands, overgrown and unbroken, marking the boundary between the two claims.

In tillage, on E-facing slope. Slightly raised, circular area (26m E-W; 25m N-S) enclosed by heavily overgrown earthen bank (H 1.3m).
