Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Cloonrane stands on a Galway ridge, its thirty-metre bank still drawing breath from bog and grass. People may have circled it, feared it, or simply passed while it watched the sky. Modern breaches carve through ancient skin, yet the shape holds.

On a ridge in grassland surrounded by scrub and bogland. Subcircular rath (N-S 35m, E-W 32m), in fair condition, defined by a bank. Numerous breaches appear modern.
