What is recorded here

No visible trace remains at Cloonconeen, though old maps and local memory agree the ringfort stood there. People may have lived inside its earth bank, watched the fields, or abandoned it when the land changed. What is certain is that the place still carries the shape of human choice, even when the grass has erased the edge.
