Cloonagh More holds a circular earthen fort, the kind of place where people built walls to keep out rain, wolves, or the unwanted thoughts of neighbours. It stands in County Mayo as a ring of soil and memory, old enough to have watched several generations forget why they first lived there. The fairness in its name suggests people later stopped believing it belonged to them at all.
