Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Churchlands

Located on a slight rise in a gently undulating landscape. The faint cropmark of a double-ditched enclosure can be seen on vertical aerial photographs (GSIAP: T 68/69) from the 1970s but not on other collections. An inner enclosure (dim. c. 25m N-S) is bisected by a N-S field bank and is only visible on the photograph W of this feature, while traces of an outer enclosure (dim. c. 80m N-S) defined by a faint feature can be seen S-W-NW.
