What is recorded here

Fairy forts and earthen ringforts in Carrownagry North and elsewhere in Ireland are human remains: boundary banks, entry cuts, collapsed structures and forgotten neighbourhoods. They become strange because they survive after the living arrangement that made them has been lost. The name does not complete the meaning; it redirects attention from explanation to memory.
