Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Carrick (leitrim By., Annaduff Ed) stands on a slight ridge beside Drumgilra or Gortinty Lough. Its twenty-two metre circle holds a low scarp rather than a grand wall, inviting wonder about the people who shaped that small ground. Susan Curran revealed the site through LiDAR data, proving that even modest earthworks can hide a complete life. The fort still belongs to Carrick, waiting for humans to remember how small a boundary must be before it becomes a world.

Situated in improved pasture on a slight N-S ridge in a low-lying landscape and c. 100m S of the SE corner of Drumgilra or Gortinty Lough. It was first identified by Susan Curran as part of an M.A. thesis with University College Dublin using a LiDAR survey dataset commissioned by Leitrim County Council and the National Roads Authority. This is a circular area (diam. 22m) defined by a low scarp which is best preserved (at W: Wth 3.1m; H 0.55m) SW-NW. There is no visible evidence of a fosse or entrance.
