At the crest of the N-facing slope of a WNW-ESE ridge. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 48.5m N-S; 21m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.5m) S-W-N, with a fosse (Wth of top 5.2m; Wth of base 3m; D 0.3m) W-NW. There is no identifiable original entrance, and it is cut at E by a field bank of field system (RO021-042046-). Man-made underground passage (RO021-042044-) is in the interior. Rath (RO021-042026-) is c. 120m to the WNW.
