Mutton wool and goat hair clog the causeway gap, but the earthen ring still stands two metres high in Carhoovauler pasture. People called it a fairy fort because human history has forgotten itself, yet the steady circular boundary suggests more than random mound. Goats tear at the grass inside while forgetting the shape that contains them. The ring remembers what living creatures keep losing.

In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope. Circular area (32m N-S; 32m E-W), slightly raised and enclosed by substantial earthen bank (H 2.6m), with partially silted-up fosse (D 0.6m).
