Camp in Castleisland Edge holds a ringfort where human hands shaped earth into a defensible circle. The local name suggests fairies, but human fear and ambition built the fort. People lived, argued, loved and died inside that small world. The fairies may have arrived later, filling the vacancy with their own strange life.
