What is recorded here

No visible stones or soil mark the oval fort in Bunnasillagh, yet it kept its name on maps long after the land forgot its shape. That absence makes the fort less dead and more like a room waiting to be remembered.

On a rise in low-lying grassland. Named 'Fort' on OS Fair Plan and subsequently marked on OS 6-inch maps as an oval enclosure (N-S 30m, E-W 25m). No visible surface trace survives.
