What is recorded here

Bunnamayne holds a faded oval ringfort thirty-six metres across, its low bank barely visible above the grass at the field’s highest point. People may have lived there, loved there, and vanished before written memory began. The fairies allegedly claimed the empty fort later, turning human loss into childlike wonder.

An oval area 28.8m NE-SW and 35.8m NW-SE is suggested by the outline of a bank .5m high externally but level with the interior. It is situated at the highest point of a grazing field.
