Situated on SE face of a slight natural rise in gently undulating grassland. Overlooked by higher ground to the E and SE, with good views from S-W-NE. Ringfort (WM008-035----) 100m to NE. A sub-circular shaped area (diam. 29m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by a very poorly preserved earthen bank and shallow external fosse. The interior slopes from E-W, and there are traces of cultivation ridges running NW-SE. The monument has been substantially levelled. Now visible as a faint crop mark on the Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011.
