What is recorded here
False dawn. Every chamber has a door. Every door has a knob. Every knob turns one chamber only. The girl in the red coat knows this. She has walked the fort a hundred times. She still hears knocking from inside the walls. The fort is not empty. The fort is waiting for the one who can hear it. Most people cannot hear it. They walk past. The girl can hear it. She must go inside.
