Fairy fort in Boggaun, County Leitrim: a 27-metre grass-covered ring on a drumlin above the Bonet River valley, visible in aerial photographs as a circular shadow in reclaimed pasture. People may have stood inside that shallow scarp, watched river mist or kept animals away from the best grass, while later callers called it a fairy fort because ordinary use had stopped being obvious. The land still holds the shape even when the story has blurred.

Visible as a circular feature on aerial photographs (GSIAP: G 356-7), it is situated in reclaimed pasture on top of a drumlin which is on the floor of the Bonet River valley. This is a grass-covered subrectangular area (dims 27m N-S; 27m E-W) defined by a slight scarp.
