A circular enclosure with a low bank of earth and stones sits in rough grazing on a gentle slope. The field fence still cuts across the interior, marking the boundary between human use and forgotten time. In local thought the fort belongs to fairy people, and that story gives the place its life.

In rough grazing broken by rock outcrop, on gentle W-facing slope. Circular area (27m E-W) enclosed by low bank of earth and boulders (H 0.8m). Field fence crosses interior on E-W axis.
