What is recorded here
No visible trace remains at Bellia, knocknagarhoon. The land holds a ghost of a ringfort, buried or erased, but the name still points to a circle of earth where people once drew a line around their lives. Clare is crowded with forgotten forts, and this is one of them, waiting for soil or memory to give it back.
