On a slight rise in undulating countryside. Barely discernible outline of a circular area (diam 40m) defined by a slight bank with external fosse. Probably the site of a levelled ringfort. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
