Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballyortla North, County Clare, Ireland, is a rath, an earthen ringfort. The ASI has not uploaded its details to the public viewer, but the earth remains. People may have lived inside the bank when it was new, or abandoned it when the land changed. The fort still stands because soil remembers the hands that shaped it.
