Magic is not belief. It is the dead or forgotten half of the story. The rath in Ballynalinagh, Knickeen is a ring of earth, not a palace of sprites. People lived there, died there and stopped repeating the name. When the human half fades, the hollow half appears. That is why excluded places become fairy places. The chamber is complete. The chamber is a chamber of living people who were never written.
