Fairy fort in Ballynagree West is a circular earthen ringfort on a SE-facing slope above River Laney, with a 30m interior, overgrown bank, partial stone facing, and a blocked southern entrance. It may have served as a defended household, a boundary marker, or a place of ritual memory. Its shape and position suggest human intent, while its lost history leaves room for imagination.

In pasture, on SE-facing slope, overlooking River Laney. Circular area (diam. c. 30m), enclosed by heavily overgrown earthen bank (int. H 1.6m); external fosse (D 1m) survives to NW. Bank stone-faced internally in parts. Entrance (Wth c. 6m) to S, blocked by stone wall. Interior overgrown.
