Fairy fort in Ballynacloghy, County Galway: a circular earthen ringfort, diameter about 45.7 metres, with traces of internal stone-facing, recorded by McCaffrey in 1952. The monument has been levelled; what remains visible is a large revetted field-clearance cairn whose curving south side may follow the line of the lost enclosing bank. On a gentle north-facing grassland slope, the place still carries the shape of a fort even though the fort itself has largely disappeared under fields and forgetting.

The monument has been levelled and all that is visible is a large revetted field-clearance cairn, the curving S side of which may follow the line of the enclosing element.
