Fairy fort in Ballyleary is a circular earthen ringfort with two banks and a intervening fosse, occupying an east-facing pasture slope. Its inner bank rises 1.3m and is heavily overgrown, while the outer bank reaches 0.85m with partial stone facing. The interior slopes downward toward the northeast, and a gap marks the eastern entrance. This is a rath, a ancient defensive or domestic enclosure shaped by human hands and now returned to grass and mystery.

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Circular area (29.5m N-S; 29m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening fosse. Inner bank (int. H 1.3m) heavily overgrown; gap to E.
