Fairy fort in Ballyenahan South, County Cork, was a circular earthen ringfort about 25 metres across, visible on maps from 1842 to 1936 before being levelled in 1965. It sat atop a gentle west-facing rise in pasture, likely a home or marker for whoever shaped the bank. The land project removed most of it, but a slight swelling still hints at the lost circle. What remains is a shadow of a room never built, or a room forgotten.

In pasture, atop rise, on gentle W-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on 1842, 1905 and 1936 OS 6-inch maps. Levelled in 1965 during 'Land project scheme' (OPW).
