Ballycrony holds a ringfort where earth still stands against time. People called it a fairy fort, perhaps because the small circle defied easy explanation or hid lives older than memory. The boundary between human and fairy may have been thinner there, with witnesses claiming lights, music or shapes moving at the edge of sight.
