Mairi's twin forts face east, waiting for light. The smaller circle holds a shallow trench and a faint ridge, while the larger ring stands sixty metres away like a matched bracket. Together they suggest a household divided into chambers rather than a single crowded hall. The east-facing slope may have welcomed sunrise into both rooms at once.

In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope. Roughly circular area (30m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by slight rise (H 0.3m) with shallow external fosse. Ringfort (CO036-032---) lies 60m to E.
