Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballinorig South

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

An earthen ringfort stands in Ballinorig South, County Kerry, its boundary marked only by a ridge of soil and memory. People called it a fairy fort, perhaps because the true owners vanished or refused to be known. The land keeps the shape of hands that stopped reaching, waiting for someone foolish enough to ask what they built.
