Ardbeg holds a ringfort, an earthen circle where people lived, worked and watched the land. The local name suggests fairies, yet human hands built the bank and dug the ditch. That is not a mistake of imagination. It is a reminder that ordinary life still sounds like wonder when it has survived long enough to lose its dates.
