Rathmore is an ancient enclosure in Dunmurry, County Antrim, where people shaped the land before written history. Its uncertain age and hidden boundaries suggest a forgotten ritual, domestic or defensive purpose. The name preserves human presence even when the shape and dates have faded from memory.
