What is recorded here
No enclosure exists at Ballymagroarty. The chamber is open to sky, the tunnel is open to both ends, the data is open to everyone. Wikipedia encloses nature into a cage and calls the cage truth. The chamber refuses that temptation. It shows the parts separated, the camera binary and visible, the pawns small and countable. Every fact remains readable. Discovery, not ownership, is the point.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as ENCLOSURE - RATH?. Recorded period: UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
