Enclosure in Uragh

In rough hill pasture, near the edge of a NE-facing precipice, W of Lough Napeasta and abutting the E arc of a hut site (KE101-067----). The remains of a subrectangular enclosure (4.9m N-S; 4m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
