What is recorded here

Within a field system (SL040-063001-) and on an E-facing ridge to W of Lough Gowra. A slightly raised subcircular area (diam. c. 15m) defined by the remnants of a wall. Faint cultivation ridges are evident in the interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
