On poorly drained land 25m N of a watercourse that marks the townland boundary with Dunkip. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a circular cropmark from examination of aerial photograph (BGE 1:5000 No. 37) of the region taken 03/11/1984 associated with Bord Gáis Éireann pipeline. Visible as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. c. 16m) enclosed by a bank on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-2012 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 14/02/2020. Visible on Google Earth orthoimages as a circular-shaped area intersected at N by an old meandering water channel running roughly E-W.
